With some lovely organic lamb chops for dinner, when it came to finding a recipe for this evening's meal I wanted a name I could trust. So I looked to see what Delia would suggest.
Oven-baked lamb chops with onion and rosemary sauce sounded straightforward and with the recipe described as "simplicity itself" I figured it was a win win.
With the chops seasoned and baking in the oven the lion's share of the work lay in the sauce making. I was surprised by the ratio of milk (175ml) to cream (2 tbsp) but recalling Mary Berry's words "if you follow a good recipe, you will get success" (admittedly referring to baking) I decided not to veer from Delia's guidelines and the end result was gratifying.
