I was quite excited by the prospect of the overnight marinade required by this recipe which appears in one of my favourite cookbooks, Sabrina Ghayour's Persiana.

Weekly meal prepping is deal for picking up on and implementing the practice of marinading, something that would usually thwart me when it comes to embracing a number recipes when approached on a more ad hoc basis.

Onions, lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric, yogurt and sea salt list as nothing short of the perfect marriage for four plain chicken breasts.  So it was with much anticipation that I popped the tray into the oven.

In fact, the dish looked more impressive than it tasted, and was only successful in securing 5s and 6s out of ten from around the table. But, I'd served it with rice and suspect it may have scored better if I'd made or bought flat breads to fashion more of a wrap like supper.
